KAOLIN
Kaolin it is commonly called, is a hydrated aluminum silicate crystalline mineral formed over many millions of years by the hydrothermal decomposition of granite rocks. Hydrous kaolin is characterized by its fine particle size, plate-like or lamellar particle shape, and chemical inertness.
Kaolin is commercially valued for its whiteness and fine particle size which distinguish it from other clays. SKAOMIN MATERIALS INDIA offers a range of processed kaolin in form of hydrous and calcined from their state-of-the-art manufacturing units situated in Bhuj Gujarat, India. This specially developed sustainable engineered kaolin helps to achieve excellent properties in various industries like Paint and Coating, Paper, Rubber, Cosmetics, Plastics, Adhesive, Ceramic and more
HYDROUS & CALCINED
Hydrous kaolin ultra –fine particle size, high brightness Kaolin, designed to provide ease of desperation and improved gloss in both aqueous and solvent –borne coating and inks. Our Premium Hydrous Range Kaolin contributes to improved opacity through efficient TiO2 spacing.
Calcined Kaolin is an anhydrous aluminum silicate produced by heating ultrafine natural kaolin to high temperatures in a kiln. The calcination process increases whiteness and hardness, improves electrical properties, and alters the size and shape of the kaolin particles.
Premium extra-fine grade has excellent whiteness, designed to meet the requirement of premium emulsion Paints & Primers. Its hardness also improves physical durability of the paint film and its burnish resistance. Ultrafine molecules help to fill the spacing of Titanium Dioxide, allowing partial replacement (15-20% or more) of Same without affecting the optical & physical properties of paint film, finished products has excellent texture & smoother surface.
‘METAKAOLIN META-X
META KAOLIN is high-reactivity kaolin which is produced by mean of thermal activation treatment to high purity kaolin clay, within a specific temperature range (750-900˚C), resulted high brightness, whiteness. Product designed to meet the requirement of pigments and construction application
Ultrafine molecules help to fill the spacing of TiO2, allow to helping partial replacement of same without affecting the optical & physical properties of paint. It improves suspension, texture & viscosity.
