CALCINED KAOLIN
Extremely Ultrafine Premium Kaolin for Glaze Opacity & Whiteness. Calcined Kaolin is an anhydrous aluminum silicate produced by heating ultrafine natural kaolin to high temperatures in a kiln. The calcination process increases whiteness and hardness, improves electrical properties, and alters the size and shape of the kaolin particles.
Premium extra-fine grade has excellent whiteness, designed to meet the requirement of premium emulsion Paints & Primers. Its hardness also improves physical durability of the paint film and its burnish resistance. Ultrafine molecules help to fill the spacing of Titanium Dioxide, allowing partial replacement (15-20% or more) of Same without affecting the optical & physical properties of paint film, finished products has excellent texture & smoother surface.
